Zoo Boise: adventures with a little one

When I was younger, we didn’t have the privilege of living next to a zoo. And truthfully, I have a love/hate relationship with zoos. I understand the value they provide but it hurts my heart to see these large animals in such small areas. I digress.

This summer, I went to the zoo SO MANY TIMES. I memorized the paths and where the restrooms were. I navigated past the penguins with ease and the lion with awe. The giraffes are always my favorite and if you know how to get around the zoo on the outside, you can see them still over the fence in Julia Davis Park surrounding the zoo.

But on this day, this cute little one was the best. She smiled at everything but was shy and reserved. I could tell she was taking it all in and respecting boundaries. Never a dull moment for her as her mom showed her around the spaces.

The zoo is a great place to get fabulous images of an adventure. If this is something you would be interested in then please contact me! I am in LOVE with our zoo. I want to support it as much as I can.

Much love,

Heather
