Why we crave family adventures, with a little Fall on the side
August 31, 2020

Throwing the ball into the basketball hoop as it sat on the grass, there was a moment of excitement. From about 5 feet away, I landed the hoop every time. I thought I was the bees-knees! No one was ever gonna take that accomplishment away from me. Given: the hoop was on the ground. Given: I was 5 feet away. Given: I was about 5 years old.

Sometimes when I look back on my life as a kid, I see the most magical things. And maybe that is because I choose to linger and remember the things that were important to me, or the things that resulted in me being the most happy. And that is probably how you can see me viewing life most often. I try to think about the good in people, the happy moments the most, and what I can do in my life to make me happier in the future.

Moving to Idaho, I knew I wanted a change. I wanted to feel happy in my work, in my photography, and in my friendships. And I have to say, I have been the happiest here than I have been in a long time.

Meeting clients that like to adventure is like a dream come true. Not only do I get to be a part of the adventure, but I get to meet like-minded people that like doing the same things as I do. And I have to say, the Treasure Valley is nothing short of people that like to adventure. Nor it is short of adventures. So while you may be thinking of all the happy things you did as a child, try to think about all the things your children will want to remember when they are your age. Happy moments equal happy memories.

Much love,
