The Boise River offers miles of fishing here in town along with parks throughout Boise and neighboring cities with ponds! You can probably find a pond to fish within just a couple miles from your house! Don’t forget the major rivers that extend outside of Boise we well. All waterways are viable for fishing. You just gotta find your favorite spot!

Fishing licenses are required. You can get a license over the phone, online, local vendors, or at a Fish and Game regional office

ArrowRock Reservoir: Located 30 minutes from Boise. Species found: Kokanee Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, Chinook Salmon, Smallmouth Bass
