Outdoor activities semi- close to Boise: Celebration Park

Celebration Park is an access site on the Idaho-Oregon Snake River Water Trail. The park area is known for its ancient collection of petroglyphs 100 to 10,000 years old. Guffey Bridge has been renovated as a pedestrian bridge where visitors can easily walk through and take in the sights. 

Location: 5000 Victory Ln, Melba ID 83641 

Hours: open year- round 24/7 for day use and camping. 

Visitor Center: open daily from 10am-2pm. Except Holidays. 

Restrooms: Available

Fees: Park fees and camping info at canyonco.org

Activities: Fishing, camping, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, touring, the petroglyphs and camping

Picnic tables are available for day use and camping on a first come first serve basis

Fishing: available year-round; regulations visit https//idfg.idaho.gov/

Camping: Campsites are located along the edge of the parking lot next to the river. There is an area with fire pits and tables for tent camping and also spots for RV parking

Free guided tours are available during visitor center hours. Call in advance (208) 455-6022 or email parksprograms@canyoncounty.id.gov to schedule a tour
