Bruneau Dunes is the tallest single structured sand dune in North America. Peak rises 470 feet above the surrounding desert.

Observatory: *Please check the website for the most current information.* Star gaze at the night sky at the Bruneau Sand Dune Observatory. Tours and solar viewing begin 1 hour before sunset and are free. Visitors are also able to use the collection of the Observatory’s collection of telescopes; check event listing for fees. Open from early April to mid October on Friday and Saturday nights, with the exception of 3 day holiday weekends
